Losing weight can be stressful. There are so many 'quick fix' solutions on the market, and while it is indeed possible to lose weight quickly, it is worth considering a few things before investing in the latest offering. I am going to give you 4 simple rules to keep and you will see how easy and stress free losing weight can be. If you follow these rules, it will drop off - just be careful to do it safely.
This is tried, tested and clinically proven to work. Sadly, there are no gimmicks or magic beans, just honest advice.
Firstly, our bodies are machines which obey certain laws. There is a speed at which you will be able to lose weight safely. There is a speed at which you can lose weight and keep it off.
Put another way, you can lose all the weight to want to very, very quickly, but you will end up putting it back on again. If your goal is to look good for your holiday and you are happy to get the weight back when you return, by all means go for it - just be careful not to harm yourself.
If you want to lose weight fast and permanently, you will not do it by starving your body. You need to make sure there is a deficit of calories each day. In other words, you are burning more than you are eating. You don't have to do exercise if you don't want to.
If you fast, your body will stop burning the fat off. It will store the fat because it shuts down when it thinks you are starving to conserve your substance.
Here is all you need to do - follow these 4 steps and you're going to find it very easy to lose that weight:
1: Get in the right frame of mind.
You must visualize yourself at your ideal weight. This will ensure you reach your goal. This is the most important part. Use hypnosis, meditation or do it with a friend so you can keep yourself motivated. If you are motivated by the image of your ideal weight, you cannot fail. This is the part most people miss out!
DO NOT USE SCALES TO MEASURE YOUR WEIGHT. You must trust me on this. Use a mirror to keep track. If you must weigh yourself, once every 2 weeks is as often as you should measure this. Water retention, time of day, what you have eaten etc all make this measurement completely distorted and de-motivating. Measure body fat percentage if you wish.
2: Have 5 meals a day.
Smaller portions than your usual 3 a day. This keeps your body burning at optimum rates, you will be amazed at what a difference this makes.
3: Eat only natural unprocessed foods.
These can have high sugar content, such as bananas, honey etc. However your body will use them quickly and effectively. You will feel healthier and for good reason. Processed foods clog up your body's burners and make it difficult to get to your goal.
4: And finally (the most annoying one!), do some exercise.
This is not completely necessary but how soon do you want to get there? I'm not talking marathons or swimming the channel. I'm talking a brisk walk. Ideally for purposes of weight loss 30 minutes 4 times a week is great. The more strenuous it is the more your body will become a fat burning machine.
It thinks 'right, I'm going to need to absorb this food quick and be ready for the next bit of exercise, so I'm going to make sure there is plenty of energy ready.' You don't have to exercise, but let's face it. You could be your ideal weight and still look out of shape.
Follow these 4 rules and see what happens. It will drop off very very quickly. Just make sure you are careful and lose weight safely.
