So have you been trying to lose weight. You have started eating healthy foods and working out daily, but there is still something that you have been missing in your daily life.

The following are 10 things that you must avoid while you are trying to lose weight: -

1) Skipping Breakfast: - Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and if you are on the plans of losing weight then you should never skip breakfast. It not only gives you a good start to your day, but also helps you stay healthy.

2) Not eating on time: - It is very important for you to eat on time. Do not change your eating timings. Keep them stable. Try to eat lunch at the same time you had yesterday, this will help your body to understand when to eat and when not to eat.

3) Not eating on regular intervals: - Our body needs energy every now and then, so we need to keep consuming something or the other. Eat fruits/oats in every two hours. Drink a lot of water in between. It will keep your system healthy.



4) Not including Carbohydrates: - As we are on diet, we might exclude carbohydrates thinking they will make you fat. But the fact is your body needs some amount of carbohydrates to keep the system going. You can opt for bakes potatoes in your breakfast.

5) Not Drinking enough water: - Water is the main constituent of our body. We need to consume at least 8-10 glasses of water daily. You can just squeeze a bit of lemon it in and salt to make it taste better.

6) No workout: - If you really want to lose weight, you will need some physical activity along with a healthy diet regime. So pick up your running shoes and start to jog daily. You can start from few minutes and eventually increase it.

7) Eating after 10pm: - Once you have consumed your diner, you need to remember that all you can consume is a little bit of fruits. Anything other than that will not be digested as you might lie down on the bed.

8) Eating while watching television: - When you eat in front of the television, you body does not realize that limitation of food that you intake. So at times you might actually take in more food than your body needs, which make you over-eat.

9) Eating with big groups: - When you tend to eat with big group, you tend to over-eat. So one must avoid eating in big groups and consume small portions of food while eating.

  3. Interesting, I had been taught to not eat after 6pm, and to eat nothing between meals. I developed diabetes at the age of 45, and they told me to eat 6 small meals a day to control blood sugar. I did. And ballooned up to 370 pounds. I drove truck for over 20 years, and developed severe osteoarthritis, so much so I lost all the cartilage in my left hip. I can barely walk for more than 5 minutes at a time, most days much less,running or jogging is out.
    I do not use animal products [yes, I slip on occaision] .
