How to Eat Healthy and Lose Weight - 5 Must Do Tips

How to Eat Healthy and Lose Weight

Maintaining a good and sensible diet routine is more than just about losing weight. Your health and well being greatly depends on what you eat. In this article I want to share with you 5 tips on how to eat healthy and lose weight quickly.

Following these 5 tips will help you shed pounds at a rapid pace. Neglecting to follow these tips may make it hard to impossible to lose weight.

Here are the tips:

1. Start each day with a good dose of protein - If you want to burn more calories and lose weight faster, protein is the nutrient for you. Not only is it the building block of muscle tissue which helps to keep your metabolism running strong, protein is also a thermogenic food, meaning that its digestion requires a lot of calories from the body.

When you eat protein, the calorie burn rate of your body rises. Great for weight loss. Lean protein is best which is why I start the day with eggs.

2. Eat lots of fiber - Perfect to curb your appetite and give you that full feeling for hours, fiber is key for calorie control and sensible eating. It's good for the digestion, great to reduce hunger, simply awesome for weight loss. It is also healthy for your entire digestive system.

3. Fruit and vegetables - What better way to reduce cravings for sweets than to eat some fruit and vegetables? Rich in vitamins, antioxidants, fiber, and a host of other goodies, a good variety of fruit and vegetables is key for healthy eating and long term weight loss.

4. Nuts and seeds - A great source of good fats, protein, and a simple awesome way to add flavor and crunchiness to nearly every dish. Nuts and almonds are rich in calories and so should be eaten in moderation.

However, they are so good for you that you should have some every single day. I often eat them as snacks or sprinkle them on my salad.

5. Water - While water isn't a food I just have to mention it here because it's crucial for good health and weight loss. Drinking water is part of eating healthy.

Water helps purify your body, improves internal bodily function, eases waste elimination, reduces hunger, and many more things that are simply crucial for you. Drink 8 glasses of water at least each and every day.

Follow these tips and you'll be much healthier and find it easier to lose weight.
